Walk Now for Autism 2007 - Orange County, CA
Uploaded by: AutismSpeaksVids
Video Description:
Over 5,000 people, including more than 150 volunteers, joined the 4th annual Orange County Walk Now for Autism on Saturday, November 17 at Hidden Valley in Irvine, raising over $400,000. Many walkers came from the San Diego area, as their walk was cancelled due to the devastation of the wildfires.
Walkers enjoyed a resource fair with over 50 vendors and musical entertainment by Dual Eyed Mic, who also performed at last year's walk. Adam Walden, from Autism: The Musical, kicked-off the opening ceremonies singing the National Anthem and Bret Prichard, Major Gifts Director of Autism Speaks, kept the events rolling as emcee.
Special thanks to in-kind sponsors Panera Bakery, Peet's Coffee & Tea, and local Corporate Visionary Sponsor, Nikken International.
