| Dude, he totally failed the physical. He was a weak, skinny kid until his 30s. He also failed the psych exam because of concussion (crashing his bike). Documented fact: John Wayne DID chicken out. When Clark Gable & other leading men went to war he got their parts, moving up from B-pictures. (Documentary on History channel). I got into a total argument over this with some of his kids at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara and if I hadnt been 6 months pregnant they would have decked me. |
