Maybe hip hop is lost and Chicago lacks respect because people insist on speaking ill of each other and focusing on hilighting the negative, as opposed to supporting each other and praising the positive.

Good point, but at the same time, this is a competitive sport. People are trying to prove they're worth something more than the next man, so they battle eachother. A true MC has 3 parts to him; Can he go off the dome on anything? Does he have flow to go with that freestyle ability? And Finally, can he stand his own in the shark pool with the rest of these MCs.

I'm not saying hip hop is lost pal. I was responding to Docmanoff's pessimistic comments on hip hop. Rhyme Spitters not on anything other than putting together the best possible emcee battle and shoot it in the best way possible. All I was trying to say was support each other instead of spewing hate.
