you have no idea how much proof I have of this shit I even had visions when I was a kid of dying at the age of the year that people say is the end of the world before I even knew about the end of the world. And I have another reason to think it because of when this one guy said it on the radio that I had learned about on accident when I prayed to God to make it so I didn't have to go to church anymore... which God apparently did by seing what I would ask in the future and ending church age.

I guess that depends on what you believe. Christianity only makes up part of the human population's beliefs and it is a relative new-comer compared to older religions and faiths. I blieve the concept of sin was invented as a tool for scaring vulnerable people into submission and conversion from one faith to another. I do believe there is any such thing as sin.

2012 is only end of one Mayan "serpentine" (the time according to "serpentine" flows faster the closer to its end = huge and fast advance in 20th cent. and last years), it will be an end of one system, but there are higher systems in Mayan calendar - it means this is only end of one period (as we have centuries for example) and Mayan calendar counts with numbers much larger a further in future... end of period is no "end" no warning :D Or do you see a warning in every "fin de siecle"?
