Hey, we all have a love in with SRV, one of the best. But really, is there a BEST? There are greats, will they all remain untouched? I dont think so. The new world is not devoid of talent and this kid is a testament to that fact.
He may grow up, be great and get his own style, but that is all.
SRV and Hendrix are cleary untouchable.
Nobody compares to them, nobody touches them and there will never be someone like them. This kid may grow up being good, maybe not, who knows, he's got talent for sure, but he will never be near SRV's and Hendrix's category/level!
There certainly is a evolution of great kids and talents out there today, but there will never be someone like SRV, Hendrix, Elvis, etc... This kid can only grow up being himself and playing guitar good, but there will never be someone like those guys. Remember that!
Who knows how this kid will develop. Some who exhibit great talent at such a young talent fizzle in a few years. Others are special and their talent only grows with age. Time will tell how this kid does. Right now, he is damned good and then some.
