Good looking when natural but the misconception that beauty is brown, engulfed in light skin forces many of our black beauties use skin lightening creams producing a mix of colours. Black knees, pink lips, brown face, purple hair! Be natural and only apply what is good to keep you good-looking. I love original black beauty.

Speaking as a proud U.S.black man, I think that straightend hair is cool. However, I think that it is too pervasive with our women. I speculate that much of it is rooted in Eurocentric ideas of beauty. I prefer natural fros, whether curly or kinky. However, this is a wonderful video and teaching tool that displays the diversity of beauty in our "sub-saharan black" population. I think it refutes any racist notions that we all look the same. There is diversity in every group. Peace.
