The 'Grand Slam' (or Earthquake Bomb), built in WWII, penetrated 40 metres into the Earth, the idea that a modern missile or bomb can only penetrate 'a few metres' is rubbish. Those idiots who made the vid are wrong a Bunker buster bomb even a nuclear one, goes farther than a few metres. A bunker buster bomb can go up to 70 metres under ground and penetrate a bunker 80 metres under ground because of its massive shockwave. Whichever of the military or cavilian made this needs to get their facts straight before they realese something like this out into the public.

Its sounds a lot like a propaganda video....one conventional penetrators can go more then a few feet underground. Any nuclear device used would be classified as to its capability and for a use such as this specifically engineered to reach and destroy its target...unless there where a driving force for an immediate attack. They would thoroughly test and simulate an attack to ensure minimum fall out and ensure target destruction

With the accuracy of current weapons tech...why not drop a hundred or more bombs on the same target...time the drops so each explosion doesn't mess up the next incoming round.....essentially dig your way to the bunker via explosions...you would have to work out the right fuse timing to throw out the most dirt but I think it would be doable.

I am a retired Chemical Officer who has taught fallout prediction for many years. 3 million people will not be killed and neither will 35 million be exposed to high levels of radiation. Only those people that fall within one to two hours downwind travel will be exposed to significant levels of radiation. The anti American propagandists, probably tied in with the tree huggers, are as wrong on this as they are on climate change models.
