sufjan CAN write from a different perspective. it's not unheard of. girl's used to wear legwarmers, say, when he was boy. and maybe he found her diary while he at the same camp as her. he says that him and his friend made up the predatory wasp one day when he was at camp. he could of linked them
together. stop jumping to conclusions, people.
And in all of Sufjan's "erotic" songs, he is singing about God. He is an acclaimed Christian artist.. This song is simply a childhood memory recalled about a plastic bad he and his cousin chased and imagined was a terrible monster...
To an understanding and mature individual, the song's meaning is obvious..
Its about a childhood memory at a church camp.
And he's not indie... nor did he grow up in New York..
He is stereotyped and currently lives where the music industry calls him.. that's it. And Clay Aiken is nothing like Sufjan.. One more thing.. biblically, gay is wrong..
If sufjan appreciates an open-minded church for accepting homosexuality, then he is in wrong himself. I like him and all but sin is sin.
Also, biblically, It's kinda wrong to hate, ain't it?
