| Hah, no, it's not quite that bad. $744 CAD = $626 USD, about an 18% spread. Keep in mind though that the Canadian economy isn't as hard-hit as the US economy right now, so it wouldn't surprise me if Dell USA is slashing prices trying to sell products. - Jason |

| Politicians have very little to do with the price of the dollar - but since you're in the USA according to your profile, you WANT a weaker Canadian dollar. Six months ago the Canadian dollar was worth the same as the Canadian dollar - and now the US dollar is worth about 18% more than ours, so it's cheaper for you in your dollar than it is in ours. - Jason |

| As long as you kept your expectations realistic, sure - with 2+ GB of RAM, the faster CPU (the ones with the 800 mhz bus), and a big hard drive for storage, it should work nicely. - Jason |
