Listen , no one is right and no one is wrong. Everyone is influenced on many factors such as what country they are from, what team they support, what era they believe was the best, what their dad thinks, ect ect. I've even seen a person say Kenny Dalgliesh was the best (liverpool fan i guess) but that is his opinion. Pele said George was the best, that's his opinion and who are we to argue, there is no right or wrong answer just many different opinions.

The only right or wrong answer is that you are wrong.. It is all a matter of opinion. If you like a powerfull fast striker you'll probably say Pele or if you like the more skillfull dribbler most will go for George Best. I rate Duncan Edwards as one of the best and would get in the best team along with George and Pele, but not the best. I respect that you think it was Duncan, thats you're opinion and you should respect other people's opinions as well. It is not a maths problem.

Exactly my point, and i hope when you say "option" you mean opinion, that is their opinion and for every 10 that saw George Best play all 10 went away saying he was the best they saw. I have supported Man Utd since 1967 so obviously George Best is my idol, i'm not going to disrespect Duncan Ewards he was a awesome player, but for me it's George, when you saw him play you got your money's worth, the most gifted and entertaining player ever. O.M.G. Opinion Opnion the word is Opinion not option. What you are bsaying is not a fact you are guessing that ALL the people that saw Duncan play say he was the best. I could say the same for George, ALL the people that saw George play say he was the best, and as more people saw George play, i win. Why do most people who name their top 5 or 10 players rate George in there somewhere, usually at the top or very near, not many rate duncan in it let alone above George.

as i said duncan is not well knowen and a lot of people who saw duncan call him the best more than they do best or say pele.plus polls don't mean much as most modern fans vote for modern players.ect cantona a couple of years back came out on top as the best man utd player ever.if there was a poll like that today the top 5 would be something like ronaldo,giggs,rooney,cantona,best as it would be mostly modern fans voting.plus duncan died at 21 with no footage of him playing sohe is notgiven credit

ok i respect his option i have read on the internet 3 people who saw both who rate best better and about 1 on youtube.but edwards was better no question to many say it and the old guys last year voted duncan uniteds best ever player for the pfa thing.plus what did you father say about how good duncan was.plus i have even read on the net a couple of things by diffrent people a couple said law was better than best and a couple of others have said jimmy johnston and bobby charlton were better.

Everybody harping on about Duncan Edwards on these comments. Be real. You NEVER saw him. All you have to go on is the sentimental words of people whose friend tragically died. Edwards was a fantastic defensive midfielder and inspirational leader who ocassionally broke forward and scored goals. As skillful as Best? not a chance.
