the F-111 Aardvark had a very long and distinguished service record. I believe it was used up until the late 90's by the USAF and the last time I was in Australia, the RAAF was still using it! Great plane!

Wikipedia claims max speeds as follows: B-58 1400mph, F-111 1650mph, Tu-22M 1446mph, B-1B 950mph, Tu-160 1380mph. Based on that, the fastest bomber would be either the F-111 or the Tu-22M (depending on whether you count the F-111 as a bomber.)
