| Doug and Christy won the Strictly lindy competition with this routine in 2001. Doug is the only competitor to ever be a finalist in Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, and Carolina Shag in the same year at the US Open Swing Dance Championships (2002). |

| There are different styles of lindy hop. Doug's style has a smoother look than, say, Savoy style lindy, but it is definitely lindy hop. |
