I love this game, but the voice acting in the English dub of the cutscenes are downright horrible. Mega Man sounds like a girl and Dr. Light talks like Elmer Fudd.

Well, Battle Network is batshit insane. In the original series, Megaman was created to counter robots made by Dr. Wily. In MM 3, Protoman showed up and the game gained a deeper plot. In 7, Bass showed up and all that jazz. Then the X series came, which was badass, then X zero, and so on and so forth.
Battle Network was about a ten year old who's best friend was a Gameboy. Fuck that crap. (This isn't an anime, by the way, it's the opening to Megaman 8.
