Southwest 803: San Diego - Las Vegas
Uploaded by: pochothepilot
Video Description:
Flying San Diego to Las Vegas on Southwest 803 (Jan. 5th, 2007). A cold front had just moved through, creating an unstable airmass much throughout the southwestern US which made for quite a bumpy ride! In fact it was turbulent the entire duration of the flight, and gusty winds topping 30 mph in Las Vegas made for an exciting landing, with quite a humorous flight attendant on board, haha. Note the dust storm kicking up in the desert. I did my best to keep the camera steady in that chop!

even airline pilots use their cameras for landings. I think they do it as a general rule - cell phones shouldnt be switched on because they can do things - Example - a pilot notices a tip tank on an airbus open by itself when it shouldnt have - he believes it was a mobile phone. But generally i doubt camcorders are harmfull as they dont normally send out microwaves.

I agree. Some larger, medium to long range aircraft such as the Boeing 767 or Airbus A330 would be nice. Personally, I would prefer it if they used A320s.

But a while ago airtran got rid of all the dc9's and they have 717's now which are brand new and only like 6 years old, also airtran has quite a few 737-700's now. So no, airtran doesn't have used aircraft.
