After a long pause i will post another video; this time it is from the American Symphonic Metal band Aesma Daeva. It is rather sophisticated, wonderfully ambient music. Enjoy!

"Really it should be any form of metal accompanied by a symphony orchestra". No and no XD Seriously, you have Metallica that recorded a concert with an orchestra but they're not symphonic not even in a million of years. If that so, not even Epica is symphonic, since they've never used an orchestra in any of their albuns... As I said, I don't see sympo metal as a sub genre, but more as a part of power, black and gothic metal :) This is my point of view,people tend to think differently...

Actually they don't ;) Nightwish and Therion have done it for a long time, and as far as I know, Epica never used a full live orchestra in their albuns. :) They use keyboard arrangements, it's different ;)

No DOUBT, I got into them when I was way young. I ended up getting all their albulms + a 1000 copey limited edition albulm which I cant even find @ the moment. They do have a main web site, some times they reprint their Albulms & its not too much $ to buy a cd. Either way wish you like on finding more of their stuff :)

Oh I mean full-lenght official albums :) In their 3 albuns they've never used live orchestra. Yes, I know they did use orchestra in some of their live concerts, but I'll check it out thanks. I must confess I'm not fan of female fronted bands, so I don't listen to those concerts :P ^^ Thanks!

I know it isn't the same thing, but for a few songs of The Phantom Agony, they used a string orchestra consisting of three violins, two violas, two cellos and an upright bass.
