Video Description:
This is footage of the band performing one of their hits, "Make Me Smile", only 3 months after it hit the Top 10. Infact, it was their first big hit. So, this footage is obviously very old.
It was filmed on July 21, 1970 at Tanglewood in Lenox, MA. This features the original band which included Terry Kath, Peter Cetera & Danny Seraphine. The other four musicians still tour as 'Chicago' with their replacements. Quite nicely, I might add!

I first saw Chicago at schafer stadium (the old new england patriots stadium) in 1974 with the Beach Boys. The best concert I ever saw. Both groups played the final set together. I have seen them about 25 times over the years. The best group ever!!!!!

BGP! Bill Graham Presents ROCKED the Bay Area. This fastastic man died in the late 1980s in a helicopter crash in the Silicon Valley-Bay Area (north Bay) coming back from another concert he produced. Carlos Santana put on the concert in Golden Gate Park to memorialize and honor him, and so many B.G.P. stars showed up to honor the Man by playing one or two songs that Bill Graham helped make famous. Now, B.G.P. sold out to a corporate schmuck producing Company.

Peter Cetera was great, but his era was way to soft and popish. The band lost something when Kath passed. What an awesome sound.

holy hell that guitar playing at the end was amazing! we played this, "does anybody really know what time it is" and "25 or 6 to 4" for my high school's marchin band half time show. i just wish we coulda seent these three songs performed cuz i know the others woulda had so much more respect for them. i know i do now.

úsica, pero en este video demuestra la calidad de estos músicos. Noten tan solo el inicio, el cual considero complicado por la coordinación. Terry simplemente brillante e intenso. Danny, excelente baterista. ¿Como hubiese sido Chicago en los 80 con Terry?
