| the LASD patrols Unincorporated areas of LA. If there is a town of 2,000 people, then the sheriff's dept would patrol it. It would be a waste to have a police station. The Sheriff's Dept even patrols unincorporated areas in a city which may have their own PD. example: inglewood police dept patrols most of its city, but there might be this long road that leads into a neighborhood of 700 people. The PD would not want that because its out of the way and considered"unincorporated inglewood. |
