those concerts are nothing compared to dave. his concert truly is an experience. plus american idol is just pop singers with voices, thats it. with dave you get the whole shebang, great vocals, great instrumentals and great jam sessions.

thanks for replying . . . as far as the Idols go, that may go for some but trust me, you will be seeing some of those Idols for a long ass time. David Cook blows me away. David Archuletta just needs to mature and then he will be blowing everyone away. Tori Amos is my absolute favorite. She can kick ass in her concerts too. I saw her without her band Check out Welcome to Sunny Fla - Precious Things. I have never seen a jam band and I am sure that I wld absolutely be in Heaven seeing DMB!

To be fair, the folsham field version is personally my favourite. Mainly for the prolonged intro, think it makes it much more effective when the song finally kicks in.

Yeah, I get what you mean, but again that's half of what I love about DMB. They can be singing about the worst of the worst or the best of the best, and still switch from bumming you out to perking you right up in an instant.
