I voted for Obama because it was pointless to vote a writ in for Ron Paul!! A lot bad has been said about Obama, and man, a lot of just is not the truth!!! No I don't know if so called "change" is going to happen?? But if I get my school paid for free and clear then its would worth my voting for him. Being of disability I don't have a lot of options, and no, I NEVER WANTED TO GET ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And nobody fucking cares!!! I will say again, I like Ron I believe most all of what he is saying is completely true, "but" He want to completely wipe out all of gov. and I just don't think that a completely a good Idea!! | he's not a prophet ... ( 1 month ago by Tylerof25) |
he's not a prophet nor is he predicting anything. He is just saying what will happen based on what the gov is doing much like a chef prepares a meal with a recipe. He studies Economics he's not magic.
wouldnt this train ... ( 1 month ago by Tylerof25)
wouldnt this train of thought kind of solidify venturas idea about people not being able to think for themselves? Pauls message is for the Individual not group think. Paul does not let his personal beliefs get in the way of his politics, which is why Ventura is invited to speak at his rallies. Paul isnt the end all in this situation. Getting on board with just one person and edging everyone out who doesnt agree with them is just as detrimental to the truth.

I like Ron Paul would more than like vote for him if he made it the bottom to guys. However, I can see some flaws, that all I am saying. hell yes, get rid of the FED, Get rid of the freaken DEA!, However, to get rid of gov, completely, well your just not in my freaken shoes, and you better hope you never are!!!

You said Ventura "makes you sick." Im pretty sure thats criticizing him.
Brown shirts... you ... ( 1 month ago by Tylerof25)
Brown shirts... you must be refering to the Obamites here cause the constitution is what formed this country not a political party.
it is... but my ... ( 1 month ago by ethanmaas)
it is... but my point is that he and Paul have significant differences on issues, which is why Ventura would not be the best running mate for him. Ventura said religion is a crutch, Ron Paul frequently quotes the Bible, the church fathers, and is an active church member. Jesse Ventura believes the 9/11 Conspiracy theories, Ron Paul has denied them.
Paul's personal ... ( 1 month ago by ethanmaas)
Paul's personal beliefs inform his politics. Listen to him talk about abortion. If you don't let personal moral beliefs/convictions guide your decision making as an elected official then you will be a Constitution-hater like most of the clowns in Washington today.
I agree they would ... ( 1 month ago by Tylerof25)
I agree they would not make the best running mates and paul would more than likely pick someone closer his values. The point i was making was I asked why ventura makes you sick and the reasons you gave were making the point that paul disagrees with him. I in turn thought you were soley disagreeing with ventura because he doesnt see eye to eye with paul. Which you still seem to be meshing the issues together to me. as far as pauls politics I believe the constitution informs them not his religion.
how could you say ... ( 1 month ago by Tylerof25)
how could you say someone is for completely getting rid of government who is running for the highest position in it? He is for getting the government out of our lives. keep them from meddling in our personal affairs. the point of the american government according to the constutution is just that. keeping us from being oppressed by the Gov. if we become dependent on gov then we become there slaves.
Well since the ... ( 1 month ago by ethanmaas)
Well since the Constitution was written by people who shared his religion (except for 3 Deists who held the Bible in high regard anyway), they intersect a lot. I disagree with Ventura because of his negative comments about religion being a crutch. He's right to a point although he was being negative: Religion is a "crutch", but crippled people need crutches. My point is that although he and Paul have some things in common, there are much better people for the job.
I agree with others ... ( 1 month ago by Tylerof25)
I agree with others being a better option than Ventura. As far as our founding fathers having the same reliigious views as paul I dont think that is correct. Most were Masons, Athiests, but some christians running from the catholic church. but i guess that is up for debate. Im not meaning to be disrepectful here just trying to say that there are many views here that can be explored. I disagree with the idea that "christianity is the end all and if you dont believe it youre wrongl."
