This song is from Sesame Street. It is sung by Betty Lou. Her voice is sung by Marilyn Sokol. In 1984 this song was banned from Sesame Street, after a mother complained that some of the lyrics could encourage children to let adults abuse them.

this is the dumbest shit i've ever heard. children don't have sexual minds until they are older, you only recognize this as an innuendo until you have ALREADY heard something similar and understand the metaphor. if the child doesn't already know the metaphor, they will think of it as a metaphor for what they already know, something like closet monsters and under the bed monster or giant animals with sharp teeth or something. you don't "save" anyone by banning this, it requires prior knowledge

I remember being in kindergarden and laughing with my best friend over how pervy this song was. Strangely enough, some young children have older siblings and are clued into this kind of stuff early. The old Henson stuff has a lot of innuendo and double entendre that went over the kids heads for the benefit of the parents who had to sit through hours of the show. I do remember it being on of my favorite songs, though. After Ernie's Tiger Hunt and the Magic Cookie, of course.
