yeah, austin is awesome. i moved here from NYC, its way more chill, and if you like live music we have something like 500 that play every night. Three is alot of green area inside the city, we have the green belt, and town lake, which has a running trail around it, and if your interested in rowing you can do that too. Barton springs in the summer time, yeah, its a good place to live.

I visited the UT-university about 4 years ago, but was unable to go up into the clock-tower,where the shooting occured, because it was closed to the public. I've read that they have opened it and closed it several times, that I lost count already,lol

Austin is a cheap place to live? And just where did you hear that from? People get a nice shock when they move here and last about 5 months before running back to where ever they came from. Austin was a hip place 20 years ago...

I living in Austin and it rocks........well to me since I've lived in Austin my whole life(So I know HOW to live), too anyone else that moves here from somewhere else...................good luck............hope you dont sent to the hospital(For a long time that, >_>)!!
P.S. NOT the best place to raise a child, unless you want them to be at least somewhat of a JD! But on the up side, you can never say you have a boring life here!
