Dont talk crap vivekis, I have represented my county for pool and play snooker to a high level also. To say snooker is easier as you have 15 reds proves you don't know what your talking about, and that pool would be dominated by snooker players is an idiotic comment as there isn't enough money in pool to attract the snooker players. Quinten Hann came and played in the 8-ball tournament and won it as did Mark Selby, if there equally hard why are no pool players winning the titles at snooker??

Dear the fox, it was merely my opinion. It seems you have taken personal offense to it. Top pool players make half as much as snooker players. That's still a sizable amount! Perhaps Quinten and Mark understand pool better than the average snooker player. Props to them. 15 reds = 14 more balls to shoot than in 9-ball, not to mention infinitely more safety possibilities. All in all, why the hate? Snooker is a classy game. After reading such comments, I can't say the same about its fans.

As for pool players not winning at snooker, no snooker player has yet to win consistently at 3-Cushion billiards. Therefore, I conclude that 3-Cushion players are the greatest cueists of all. Does that logic make any sense? It doesn't to me. Luckily, I don't have to choose between the games. I love them both!

for not liking the american, he had more skill then the other player. "Ronnie" seemed to have a stroke of luck with a nicely placed cue and a few easy straight-ins an amateur could pull off. However, what i like least about "Ronnie" is his horrid breaking ability.

no doubt snooker requires more skill/accuracy. I think pool is more about 'manufacturing' shots esp by using the wider pockets, and snooker is 'executing' to perfection and requires finer control of cue ball. In pool its relatively easier to get out of a 'badly executed' shot. But yes, in either of these, you have to be better than your opponent :).

Watch the video again. While that hick is moaning about the 'ball skiddin' baaad', Ronnie's putting each object ball bang in the centre of the pocket every time with perfect cue ball position. Why they all looked so easy is for that very reason. The American was just out-classed, there's no 2 ways about it. Ronnie's a Snookering legend. Possibly the best player that the game has ever produced

snooker is a lot more difficult to play well than pool! Thats why most ppl in the uk can hold a pool cue but cant pot shit on the green baize.I love playing pool and watching snooker if you get my drift.Anyone who thinks differently is seriously deluded

i wouldnt say that. snooker requires less force and more concentration, and it is harder to pot balls in snooker, but i believe its easier to play position. pool is an intellectual game, too.
