You have taken that verse out of context. it applies to Israel's enemies and neighbors of that time period. Also their enemies and neighbors got their tattoos representing their pagan religions, hence why it would be dishonorable to God. The Bible isnt always literally and you have to look into the cultural background and context of each passage.

In addition to the "sugary" performance, Jordin looks pretty cute in this audition as well. Sporting that denim bolero, red top, jeans, and cute peep-toe shoes. I have very few problems with anything girly or cutesy, even in singing. She did a great job for what she did. While it was cute, it was a great performance.
