Actually a rear wheel drive car can acclerate better than any others. AWD is only good at all terrain drives, when its up the road, no match. So basically rear wheel drive cars are the best at accelerating but suck at braking and turning, I can bet on that mate.

Well the S2000 is a front-mid engine and rear wheel drive car. It's better in accleration than front wheel driven cars. The engine is at the front half of the body so it makes good handling as well. Overall it's a good balanced car, good at both accleration and handling. Although MR and RR can be better in accleration and FF can be better in handling. It's in the middle.

it all comes down to the torque curve and grip. The supra makes all that damn power in the last 1000 rpm before redline. Unfortunately, by then its already a length behind the GTS. The outcome would be exactly the opposite with a rolling race 50-150.

Pretty true about ur view, sir. However grip is not important here as it's not a rally race, power is more important. And I advise you not to swear in public, at least not in the circumstance that you are making a big mistake like this one!

Agree Joey. PUR3R4ZOR is not very intelligent apparently. Rally or Strip race. Traction is everything you retard. Why do you think drag cars run with slicks? Why do they warm up and do massive burnouts before staging? Grip is everything. And of course and AWD car will grab more and rip better out of the hole compared to a rear wheel drive car. Unless it's professionally done, AWD will always get hole shots.
