however it should in NO way be compared to the dire straits version..
listen to the way the words tumble and the mood this sets in the origional brenden flowers just doesnt do this so well, he's far too neat great job any way tho... the song remains unbutchered, just misinterpretted.

Brandon's voice is one of the most emotive I've ever heard--it's amazing. And this is one of those rare covers that doesn't try to reinvent the song, but is more like a dedication. It's awesome.
