Mr.gurmad911 it wasn't Al Qaida it was the Taliban that we gave weapons to help fight the Soviet Union but at the time they were know as FREEDOM FIGHTERS.And Bin Laden himself did say he was involved (Arabic newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi)!
