I'm with you on that. Main stay quantum theorists do not agree with the new age attempt to combine spirituality with hard science. Yet, there are many unique techniques which humans seem to be capable of, such as OBE's, accurate intuition, and maybe even the ability to change ones neurological structure in a lifetime that all 'may' lend credence to our own intentional evolution as a species. Where as other animals, plants etc. must wait generations.

can we leave god out of this. god is a simple leaning post we lean against when ever we cant explain something. I think this can be connected to spirituality but whether it is or not has no significance on it what so ever
it could easily be ... ( 3 weeks ago by martyniak)
it could easily be that spirits live here in these bodies, and once 'ended' here' go back to the collective of all the other spirits and share lived experiences and happenings from the physical world... that way it grows and evolves (just like any species) and that way it could oversee the whole process in order to evolve more. just a view. good video Aneta.
What is the reality ... ( 3 weeks ago by kelbyutub)
What is the reality? There is no time, no space, no existence, these all are illusion. The reality is that the whole "existence" is a reflection of knowledge and characteristics of "Absolute Being" that we are not able to understand, not God. And also, who am I? You're nothing, there is no "I". Ego ("I" imagination) is a hallucination of individuals. Also, there is no gods, in somewhere in the space or out of it. This is the greatest misunderstanding of human being. All prophets told that truth.

According to Islam, ... ( 1 week ago by kelbyutub)
According to Islam, all knowledge was spreaded around the world by prophets of Absolute Being named "ALLAH" in Quran, the holy book of Islam. Some says Buddha was a prophet, too. Anyway.. The issue is that how to live your life, how to realize self-realization? With "Meditation" or with "Salah"? Are there any rules to follow in daily life? Which religion is the real one?

I think it is best ... ( 1 week ago by mrkurt13)
I think it is best to view realization of true nature as the top of a mountain. Anything that gets you to the top is great(meditation, contemplation, yoga, devotion, quantum physics, shaman drumming, etc). Islam, while it might be a potential vehicle to the top, does not seem to work well for most people. Usually, any system that claims to be telling you the absolute truth, rather than showing you a way to experience it yourself, is not a good system.
But there is not ' ... ( 1 week ago by mrkurt13)
But there is not 'true' religion. Some paths to the truth seem to work better for most people than others. The quickest, in my opinion are Zen Buddhism, enthogenic drugs(DMT, shrooms, mescaline...maybe LSD), Ananda Yoga, Self reflection meditation(Integrating "who am i?" into meditation), or any system that gets rid of ego/self importance.
I would like to ... ( 1 week ago by jndala)
I would like to point out that the state before the big bang and even the state at the precise moment of the bang are unknown to science. The best you will get at this point in history is conjecture on the matter, among which, this notion that the mind comes from the same state from which the space time singularity at the beginning came from is probably the most laughable one I've heard so far. The mind is an emergent property or function of the machine of the brain!
religions aren't ... ( 1 week ago by jndala)
religions aren't real things, merely memes which infect people and, people being generally unaware of the difference between real and imagined things, assign to them an imaginary significance. The short answer is no religion is the real one, they are all merely opinions. If you're looking for meaning in your life, you should be looking for it in your life and not outside of it.
Which information ... ( 5 days ago by kelbyutub)
Which information do you depend on saying religions are not real or true? Do you think we and every single thing are here coincidencely and aimlessly? Quran says: "Does man think that he is to be left to wander without an aim?"
very simple. Real ... ( 5 days ago by jndala)
very simple. Real is anything physical, so matter and fields of force are real. True is a quality that a meme may have if what the meme describes approaches or approximates the discernible state of reality or state of other memes. Thus, since religions (and lets face it, we're talking about the forsaken stupidity of Islam here) are complexes of memes which present demonstrable falsehoods about the nature of reality, they are not true. Keep in mind that memes themselves are also imaginary.
You don't give the ... ( 4 hours ago by kelbyutub)
You don't give the answer of my question. Do you think that none of the humanbeings and animals are not being asked to be born or dead. How can you explain the existence (whether it is imaginary or not)? How it become existed? Anyway You will know the truth with your death.
