Let's see, big, beautiful opera houses...or a thousand elote carts...umm, gentrify, the sooner the better.
Pilsen went from Jewish to Bohemian and then guess what? It was 'gentrified' as Mexicans moved in at a rate sufficient to justify calling it a Mexican neighborhood. As for the 1000 elote carts vs. opera houses, I'm Mexican, I've lived there over 25 years, I'm not unable to see that vendors incre
ase annually while the architectural contributions are nill...
