But still- remember that beaten to a pulp earlier and newly SS1 Goku completely outclassed Frieza. Vegeta after coming back from the dead was raring to go at frieza without being SSJ, so it makes sense.
Also- in the new movie Avo and Cado are supposed to be at frieza level and Goten and Trunks are even with them in their base forms.

Goku completely outclassed Frieza, yeah thats true, but 50% Frieza completely outclassed base Goku, even when he used the Kaioken. Vegeta was only raring to go at Frieza because of his pride, hell, Vegeta was raring to go against Android 18, and she broke his arm. Movies are no indication as to power, movies fuck up as much as GT did.

Goku can't sustain the 20x Kaioken form for very long at all, and even so Frieza was at 50% (im actually not sure if he WAS 50%, he might have been lower) Frieza also stopped the attack with one hand.
I fail to see how stopping someones very best attack, with them pulling out all the stops at half strength doesnt count as completely outclassing them. Frieza even survived an attack (The Spirit Bomb, or Genki Dama) containing energy that wasn't Goku's at 50%.
