No, they take their WORK very seriously. They take being a badass and entertaining group of talented musicians very seriously. They take putting on a great show for the people who come out and shell out a buttload of money to see them very seriously. The fact that half the other crappy bands out there don't have an ounce of integrity is not a shortcoming on Manowar's part.

I am dead fucking serious when I say this: If you don't like Manowar, you are a fucking wimp and a poser! They STAND for what they fucking believe in, and have the talent to back it up! This video is supposed to be a metaphor comparing slaying Barbarian hoards with swords and slaying their Metal fans with , well, Metal! It may be a bit corny but a lot of early, low budget, videos were. No one sounds like Manowar and no one every will. Their early gimmick may have been to wear furs and leather but they soon changed and became a lot more "mature". They never acted or looked like other bands of that time and they survived! That says a lot! "Death to all False Metal!"

Cheers to Mr. Deer. I'm a lifelong metalhead and although I can laugh at and see the absurdity in a 50 ft. high "Eddie" (Iron Maiden) or Manowar coming out in full Conan gear I still love and appreciate it. I do pay a lot of money to go to the shows so when a band puts all their passion into learning the songs and putting on a great show (costume, props, pyro, etc.) I'm always grateful. Metal is sort of a life choice. People either "get it" or they don't.

seven4ths, I don't know what it is that's gotten you mad about this band that's making you so hell-bent on assuming things like that about them. Now I have actually had the privelege of corresponding very briefly with Manowar and while they're very dedicated to what they do but they realize that they are what they are, a metal band, not actual "lords of doom" slaying all in their path. If they thought that, they'd have been committed. Think about it. They're performers. They perform.

You simply cannot not like the awesome cheesiness of this video. It includes everything that is great about Manowar. And the song fucking rocks, too. You may think about them whatever you want, but their early albums are just absolutely fucking awesome.
